About us
Stantons was established in 1986 as a specialist family law practice from the outset, aiming to be "professional, accessible and affordable". Now based in Gravesend, we are also only 20 minutes by train from St Pancras and can offer London quality advice at provincial charging rates.
Our solicitors are all highly experienced with specialist Panel memberships. Jan Stanton is a deputy District Judge in the Principal Registry, bringing additional wide experience of High Net Worth cases and complex financial negotiations.
We are upfront about costs and most clients pay by Standing Order on a monthly basis to make our services affordable. We will discuss with you whether there are aspects of your case you can deal with yourself to save costs.
We advise carefully and frankly, in plain English, and whilst we adopt the Resolution Code of Practice we will fight your position rottweiler style if circumstances require it.
We offer a variety of fixed fee arrangements for initial advice and attendances at court.
