At Simpson Sissons and Brooke, Janet and Angela can help you with any issue relating to family law, offering a very personal level of service and considerable expertise.
Janet has over twenty five years experience of family law. She is a family Mediator and Collaborative lawyer. One of few solicitors in the country to be accredited by Resolution, the Family Lawyers Association, to deal with complex financial matters, it is in this area that Janet now specializes (whether couples are divorcing or separating) or where one party has died and there has not been appropriate financial provision made for their partner. Janet also deals with more complex private law children cases and those with international aspects although she has experience in all aspects of family law. Her experience of dealing with financial matters for clients has included cases involving offshore trusts, family trusts, complex company formations, partnerships and high net worth.
Angela has over seven years experience of dealing with all aspects of family law including divorce, separation, cohabitation disputes, residence and contact issues involving children. Experienced at representing clients in situations ranging from amicable settlements to contested matters, Angela approaches her cases from a practical and sensitive point of view.
